Healthy living has become a buzzword in the recent years. Exercising is a sine qua non for the people of all age groups today. With increased awareness about the benefits of exercising, almost everyone desires to indulge in some kind of physical activity in order to stay fit, healthy and maintain an attractive physique. Some people prefer to go to health-clubs and gyms for healthcare but some say that walking and climbing stairs are more effective. In my opinion, both the contemporary as well as conventional ways are equally effective and helpful in inculcating habits of healthy living and building a fitness regime. The form and type of activity that one adopts for staying fit is a matter of personal preference, the sole purpose being to stay healthy and fit.An analysis of health clubs and gyms viz-a-viz walking, running, etc, as forms of exercises, has been discussed in the forthcoming paragraphs.

When we talk about fitness and healthcare, gyms and health-clubs will definitely be a preference amongst a majority of individuals having modern outlook and tastes. Although one has to shell out some extra money for becoming a member of accredited gyms or health-clubs, facilities at such places include twenty-four-seven services, personal trainers, customized diet plans, etc, to name a few. Such places are also helpful in creating a harmonious and effective ambience for the purpose of building an efficient exercise regime.

Although health-clubs, fitness clubs and gyms are in vogue, the conventional ways of staying fit and healthy are also highly preferred amongst people of all age groups. Brisk walk, climbing stairs, jogging, etc are also very effective and inexpensive methods of maintaining good health. In fact, walking is one of the most natural and highly acknowledged ways of staying fit. There is no monetary expense involved when it comes to gaining fitness by indulging in such activities. Apart from health benefits, nature walks and jogging are immensely enjoyable and pleasant. Going for walks with family and friends regularly contributes in staying healthy as well as spending time with loved ones.
